The Town Crier has relationships with several reliable email campaign vendors. Depending upon your list size and requirements, we are able to give you access to these vendors who will effectively execute your email campaign.

Our partner vendors are affordable, reliable and produce results. They also provide reports and statistics to maximize success for your email campaign. 

Since 1999 we have created relationships with major marketing and publication firms. These relationships have provided unique and responsive consumers and business email leads to our system.

Our progressive strategy utilizes specialized "list management". The idea behind this technique increases sales and lead generation by optimizing suitable recipients for the campaign. 

Our primary channels target the US Internet consumer market, which is a diverse and highly responsive audience. Your audience is the most important factor to the success of your online advertising campaign. There is no substitution for a high quality Opt In database. Our extensive data hygiene process ensures the highest level of deliverability and return on investment.

 

What the Law Requires of Us

Here's a rundown of the law's main provisions that we strictly follow:

    * We do not provide false or misleading header information. Our email's "From," "To," and routing information – including the originating domain name and email address – are accurate and identify us as the company who initiated the email.

    * We do not use deceptive subject lines. Our subject lines do not mislead the recipient about the contents or subject matter of the message.

    * We give our email recipients an opt-out method. We provide a return email address or another Internet-based response mechanism that allows a recipient to ask us not to send future email messages to that email address, and we honor all requests. We can also create a "menu" of choices to allow a recipient to opt out of certain types of messages, but we always include the option to end any commercial messages from us.

 

The Town Crier's Contact's Policy

The Town Crier has a no tolerance spam policy.  The Town Crier Contact's customer support actively monitors large import lists and emails going to a large number of contacts. Any customer found to be using The Town Crier Contact for spam will be immediately cut-off from use of the product. If you know of or suspect any violators, please notify us immediately at abuse@ttcblast.com.

Every email contains a mandatory unsubscribe link - those individuals who try to remove this link will be warned that they are doing so. If the link is removed or de-activated in any way,  The Town Crier will terminate the customer's account.

 

What is Spam?

Spam is unsolicited email also known as UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email). By sending email to only to those who have requested to receive it, you are following accepted permission-based email guidelines.

 

What constitutes a Preexisting business relationship?

The recipient of your email has made a purchase, requested information, responded to a questionnaire or a survey, or had offline contact with you.

 

What constitutes The Town Crier?

The recipient of our email has been clearly and fully notified of the collection and use of his email address and has consented prior to such collection and use. This is often called "informed to The Town Crier."

 

Isn't there a law against sending Spam?

The federal anti-spam law went into effect on January 1st, 2004 and preempts all state laws. While this new law will not stop spam, it does make most spam illegal and ultimately less attractive to spammers. The law is specific about requirements to send commercial email and empowers the federal government to enforce the law. The penalties can include a fine and/or imprisonment for up to 5 years.

 

The Town Crier is a permission-based email-marketing System that follows the strictest permission-based philosophies:

    * Verification -  The Town Crier automatically sends all of our new contacts an email confirming their interest in receiving emails from us. Additionally, if your contact changes his or her interests or unsubscribes,  The Town Crier automatically sends an email confirmation.

    * Unsubscribe - Every email generated from  The Town Crier contains an unsubscribe link which allows your contacts to opt-out of future emails and automatically updates your contact lists to avoid the chance of sending unwanted emails to visitors who have unsubscribed.

    * Identification - Our email header information is correct because it is pre-set for you by The Town Crier. Our email's "From" address is verified and already accurately identifies Us as the sender.

    * Contact Information - all of our emails are pre-filled with our contact information including our physical address.

We supplement all this with direct calling by our communications staff. Our call center in Vancouver has predictive dialers that will call every number (all 10,000) in each telephone exchange in each area and deliver a message asking for their email addresses. This will cover all phones, including unlisted and cell numbers.

After this, we take all the numbers that are valid and have our call center in Jacksonville, Florida manually call all the telephone numbers that we couldn't reach with our predictive dialers and deliver a similar message and gather the remaining contact data we need to build our database.

Then, we take these contact emails and add them to our existing database and what we come up with is the most comprehensive, most complete data base of contact information of your area of any data base in the world.  No one can contact your citizens with a saturation
